True Story

So I was at the Santa Palm car wash in West Hollywood today and this really hot guy was kinda cruising me. Tall, goatee, nice jeans, blue eyes....sexy. Everyone is standing around outside waiting for their cars to be done and the he was constantly looking over, looking too long, walking past me for no reason, etc...generally flirting. I of course was flirting back.

Cut to: the guy drying the car lets out a whistle for the car he was done working on and the hot guys starts over to it. But he turns and gives me the most shameless wink. So I'm like, wow....ok..I decide to head over towards the street where he was gonna pull out to see if he wanted to say hello. But before he starts his car someone comes over and says "I think that's my car..." To which he responds "Oh...I'm sorry, we have the same car." It was all very innocent . Oh, btw...Mercedes coupe brand new. So he walks back into the car wash to see where his car was.

He comes out a couple minutes later and I'm thinking here's my chance to flirt back by saying something cute to make fun of him for getting in the wrong car, being ditzy, whatever. So I say "You got caught trying to steal that dude's car...chuckle chuckle..." To which he kinda reponds "...umm...it was the other one....uh...uh......" Weird. Right? So a couple of awkward moments go by with us looking at each other, and he just walks off...and out of the car wash...onto the sidewalk...and leaves. Gone.

He was totally trying to steal a car.

It would have been just my luck to hook up with this guy, have my identity stolen and end up in the truck of a stolen car. He was probably some grifter...some hot grifter.
